II. talebearer, hence 'agent provocateur' of tyrants, Plu.2.522f:—hence fem. προσαγωγίς , ίδος, ἡ, Dor. ποταγωγίς Arist. Pol.1313b13 (but “τοὺς καλουμένους -αγωγίδας” Plu.Dio28, cf. Id.2.522f).
