1. of Place, which way, where, whither, relat. to τῇ, Il.13.53, 15.46; also in Trag. and Att., S.El.1435; “τῇδε . . ᾗ” A.Ch.308; “ἐκείνῃ . . ᾗ” Pl.Phd. 82d; Dor. “ᾇ” SIG56.28 (Argos, v B.C.).
II. of Manner, how, as, “ᾗ καὶ Λοξίας ἐφήμισεν” A.Ch.558; “ᾗ νομίζεται” S.OC1603; “ᾗ βούλονται” Th.8.71, etc.:—not in Hom., unless we read ᾗ θέμις ἐστί for ἣ θέμις, v. θέμις.
2. wherefore, Th.1.25, 2.2,al.
