II. metaph., day-labourer, Alciphr.3.19,63; also συργάστωρ , ορος, ὁ, v.l. ibid. (in 63).--Both words are expld. by συοφορβός or ὑ（ο）φορβός in Hsch., Phot., EM736.25 (Συργάστωρ is also an ὄνομα βαρβαρικόν acc. to Hsch.).
