II. without ἐξ, from the same source, “ὁ. γεγάασι” h.Ven.135, Hes.Op. 108, cf. X.Cyr.8.7.14 ; “τὸν ὁ.” brother, E.Or.486 ; so “τὸν ὁ. πεφυκότα” Id.IA501 ; “οἷς ὁ. εἶ, καὶ γονᾷ ξύναιμος” S.El.156 (lyr.), cf. E.Fr. 736.4.
