A.flowing from, ἔχειν τὰς ἀ. to be the source of streams, Plb.10.28.4; “ἀέρος οὐ δεχομένου τὰς ἀ.” Plu. 2.933c.
II. Astrol., = ἀπόρροια 3, Vett.Val.146.32; “μανίας καὶ λύττης ἀ.” Junc. ap. Stob.4.50.27. (ἀπόρρυσις (q.v.) shd. perh. be read in these passages.)
III. folly, = ἀφροσύνη, Aq.De.22.21, 1 Ki.25.25.
