2. abs., to be lucky or successful, opp. ἐξαμαρτάνω, D.18.178; τὴν θέσιν εὔχεσθαι δεῖ κατατυγχάνειν as to the situation of the city, one must hope to be successful, Arist.Pol.1330a37.
