A.have opportunity, leisure or time, PSI4.342.2 (iii B.C.), Plb.20.9.4, 1 Ep.Cor.16.12, etc.: c. inf., “οὐδὲ φαγεῖν ηὐκαίρουνEv.Marc.6.31, cf. Plu.2.223d, Luc.Am.33; “τοῦ διαβῆναιPEleph.29.7 (iii B.C.).
II. τινι or εἴς τι, devote one's leisure to a thing, “εὐ. τοῖς ἀθανάτοις ἑαυτοῦChio Ep.16.6; εὐ. εἰς οὐδὲν ἕτερον . . Act.Ap.17.21.
III. enjoy good times, prosper, Plb.4.60.10; “τοῖς βίοιςId.32.5.12: in this sense also εὐκαιρέομαι, Posidon.59 J.
