A.of the West or west wind, westerly, Id.CP2.3.1; τοῖς ζ. (sc. ἀνέμοις) at the period of westwinds, Arist.HA618a7; western, “τοῖχος” Inscr.Délos 290.166 (iii B.C.), cf. IG12(5).126 (Paros, ii B.C.).
