ἀκήριος (A), ον,
A.unharmed by the Κῆρες; generally, unharmed, Od. 12.98, 23.328, h.Merc.530, Nic.Th.190, Call.Ap.41, A.R.3.466; ψυχαὶ ἀκήριοι, = ἀθάνατοι, free from power of the Fates, Ps.-Phoc.99.
II. having no κῆρ, i.e. with no fortune attached to them, “ἡμέραι” Hes.Op. 823.
III. harmless, πάμπαν δ᾽ ἄμωμος οὔτις οὐδ᾽ ἀ. Semon.4, cf. Nic.Th.771.
